Threshold Training
Threshold Training is the hottest trend sweeping the global running scene. From Olympic gold medalists and World Record Holders to High School National Champions, it seems as though most of the top training groups are using a version of Threshold Training. This course is your ticket to understanding this concept on your own terms.
By the end of this 4 week course, you fully understand what Threshold Training is, why so many successful coaches and athletes are using it, and most importantly how you can implement Threshold Training for yourself or the athletes you coach; no matter what their skill and experience level and no matter what type of race you’re preparing for!

Digital Instruction
All class sessions take place via live Zoom Calls, which will be available for all class participants to dowload at the end of each session.
Fully Interactive Learning Environment
Part one of each session is Lecture based, while part two is an open forum. All participants will have their questions addressed in real time.
Four Weeks of Learning
A month long journey into Threshold Training, we pace the course appropriately to ensure you will leave confident in your ability to program, implement, and explain a Threshold based training plan.

Week One
What is Threshold Training and why do the Pros use it so extensively? Should I be using it?
Week Two
How the pros apply Threshold Training in the real world, from Track & Field to Ultras. What can we learn from them?
Week Three
Applying these principals to “the rest of us”. Aka, Threshold Training for mortals.
Week Four
How does this apply to ME specifically and MY athletes? Together we build a road map for success.
